7. HEROES AND ZEROS
Heroes and Zeroes is a 2012 Nigerian drama film written and directed by Niji Akanni. It stars Nadia Buari, Bimbo Manuel, Olu Jacobs, Gabriel Afolayan, Akin Lewis, Linda Ejiofor, Norbert Young, and Tina Mba.
According to the director, the story is inspired by true life events.
Heroes and Zeros tells a story about the relationship between a 45 yrs old married film director, Amos and a film actress, Tonia. Amos, who is having troubles in his marriage seeks to be an international soccer star in the nearest future. His wife, Tinuke works in a financial institution and is having difficulty coping with the death of her only child. Amos is opportuned to be a part of a major big budget film to revive his career. He eventually uses it to re-establish himself in the film industry. He is greatly obsessed by Tonia and begins extra-marital affairs with her to the detriment of his wife.
6. HEAVEN’S HELL
Heaven’s Hell is a Nigerian movie based on a true life story of two housewives and best friends who are held together by friendship and unwavering love, yet laced by betrayal and deceit.
Heaven’s Hell is co-produced and directed by Katung Aduwak.
The movie features Nse Ikpe Etim, Bimbo Akintola, Damilola Adegbite, OC Ukeje, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Chet Anekwe, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Jacobs and Bimbo Manuel.
The movie release has been delayed due to censorship.

5. INVASION 1897
Invasion 1897 is a true life historical tale produced by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen. The film is based on the invasion of the great Benin Kingdom by the British in 1897, who then carted off Benin arts and artifacts which till date, still adorn museums around the world.
The movie stars; Segun Arinze, Justus Esiri, Mike Omoregbee, Charles chucky venn, Rudolph Walker, Paul Obazele.
4. BLACK NOVEMBER
Black November is a 2012 Nigerian action drama film starring; Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Mickey Rourke, Kim Basinger, Sarah Wayne Callies, Nse Ikpe Etim, OC Ukeje, Vivica Fox, Anne Heche, Persia White, Akon, Wyclef Jean and Mbong Amata. It is directed and co-produced by Jeta Amata.
Black November was inspired by true life events and narrates the story of a Niger Delta community’s struggle against their government and a multi-national oil corporation to save their environment which is being destroyed by excessive oil drilling.

3. 93 DAYS
93 Days is an upcoming Nigerian film directed and co-produced by Steve Gukas.
The movie is inspired by the story of late Adadevoh of First Consultants Hospital in Lagos, and her courageous team who joined hands in fighting the spread of deadly Ebola Virus Disease. It centres on the sacrifices made by men and women who risked their lives to save Nigeria and West Africa from the epidemic of the Ebola virus.
93 days stars; Bimbo Akintola, Bimbo Manuel, Charles Okafor, Danny Glover, Gideon Okeke, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Somkhele Idhalama, Tim Reid, Sola Oyebade. The movie is definitely a must-watch.

Dry is a 2014 Nigerian drama film directed by Stephanie Linus and starring Stephanie Okereke, Liz Benson, William McNamara,Darwin Shaw, Paul Sambo, Olu Jacobs and Rahama Hassan.
The director noted that the movie was inspired by a true life story of a lady she met in Northern Nigeria.
Dry tells the story of Zara, a successful African doctor living in Wales who determined to stay away from her childhood memories and this now threatens her commitment to marry Alex, a gentleman she truly loves. Her mother, a missionary to Africa, has been unable to get Zara to go with her for her yearly medical aid trips to Africa. When her mother falls ill and unable to make a crucial trip, Zara discovers there is a strong possibility her long lost daughter might still be alive in Africa, she steered in a new direction to face and conquer her darkest fears. Her trip to Africa becomes inevitable.

Apaye is a 2014 Nigerian biographical drama film directed by Desmond Elliot. It stars; Clarion Chukwura, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Belinda Effah, and Mbong Amata.
Apaye tells the true story about how Yepayeye (Clarion Chukwurah) struggles to overcome the many challenges of a single mother of 6 and eventually triumphed in ensuring the uprightness and education of her kids.
